Bought my Ghibli two months ago and now there's a random gearbox light, kind of freaking out

okay so not gonna lie i'm a little stressed writing this. bought a used ghibli about 2 months back, private sale, did my due diligence as much as i could as a first time maserati owner lol, drove it for weeks with zero issues and then out of nowhere last tuesday a little warning symbol lit up on the dash that i genuinely had no idea what it meant until i looked it up and realized it was tied to the transmission module throwing some kind of fault. car still drives fine which is honestly the confusing part, no jerking no delay nothing i can physically feel different, but obviously seeing that light stare back at me every time i start the car is not doing great things for my anxiety especially since i don't have years of history with this specific car to know if this is new or something that's been quietly building up before i even bought it. tried calling the guy i bought it from just to ask if he ever saw this and he said no never, which either means it's genuinely new or he just wasn't the type to notice these things, who knows at this point. anyway i work kind of close to industrial area 11 so i figured instead of driving all over the city i'd just look for something nearby, ended up finding a maserati gearbox repair workshop in industrial area 11 sharjah while scrolling around one night and it seemed like they actually specialize in these italian transmissions specifically instead of just general repair work, so that gave me a little bit of relief not gonna lie. has anyone else had this happen right after buying a used maserati, like a random fault light with no actual drivability change, and did it end up being something small like a sensor being weird or did it turn into an actual bigger issue once someone actually looked into it properly. just trying to prepare myself mentally before i go in lol because right now the not knowing is honestly worse than whatever the actual answer probably is
